Portsmouth West 6 spots behind Wellston? Awesome.

Washington CH beat Hillsboro on a failed 2 pt conversion...Western Brown like 48-22....Jackson beat Western Brown by 25 and lost a heartbreaker at your #1

Wheelersburg that low is pretty silly

Teams from the following counties eligible... Monroe, Washington, meigs, Gallia, Lawrence, noble, Morgan, perry, Fairfield, hocking, Clinton, Jackson, pick away, Madison, Fayetteville, highland, Adams, scioto, pike and Ross counties... The D1 and D2 schools were eliminated... Do to the fact that I am using a formula that was used in the 70's to decide a mythical metropolitan championship... The area at time only had 3 divisions modified formula for 7 divisions doing this seemed to skew the rating you got for size schools...

This is a mathematical formula not my opinion.. I dont think Marietta is a top 10 team.. I think wheelersburg is a top team... I think Athens is a top 15 team or better... But this isn't my opinion... ( so your not hurting my feelings by disagreeing with it... ). I just wanted to know this would look by end of season in our area I would be doing the math anyway for my own enjoyment.. I just decided I would share...

The pole gives you points for each win.. You get additional points for the size school you beat... You also get strength of schedule points.. Strength of schedule is determined by all your opponents records just not the one's you have played so far... That is part of reason poll will get better as season goes on... ( I am sure when they did pole in 70's the strength of schedule just on teams they had already played... I do this in spare time and don't have that much extra time to change it each week)... You also have scoring margin as a factor... Right now poll has several teams that have beaten teams that have several wins already... Even though those teams won't win very many more games and other teams like wheelers burg teams they played have not done somewhere... If by end of year pole seems close to right I may do again.. If it looks as wrong as it does now... I will think it is silly also... And a waste of time... Have a great week and year it apart.. It is all good

I don't think anyone has figured out you are using math to project these numbers... some believe these are your true feelings... Sorry for having to put up with the Bull.

I think this is why calpreps doesn't list their results until October.

Keep up the good work.

Your formula is invalid, and I'd love to know what values this formula is using to determine strength?

I mean Pasture is mathematical formula as well as maxpreps, and they are way closer than this.

Dude your prolly gonna have to change the topic title to..... " my mathematical, NOT actual, no way, shape, or form my opinion, just for fun, again NOT actual, just killin my spare time, in no way offensive or accurate reflection on the current correct standings, equation."... Then MAYBE you won't get harassed by moderators.

I am not sure but I think fab 50 guy uses a historical formula for strength of schedule... That would be great but I have no idea how you would do it... I am not trying to predict playoff teams I am not projecting computer points. I am just trying to compare teams from this area of state thru a mathematical formula..
My strength of schedule is calculated first by school size a d-7 school would give you 1 point a d-1 school 7 points.. Then each of these school winning percentages are figured... You play a D4 school that is 4 points.. That school is 5-5 or .500. 4x.500 =2. You do this for each team. Then you add all together and divide by 10 if the team has a 10 game schedule... This gives you strength of schedule component... This is not perfect because not every d-4 5-5 team is the same I get that but this is a pretty good indicator and something I can do in just a little bit of time now that I have it set up.

You have to realize this is early in season and teams really jumbled together.. I don't have it is front of me but I think wheelers burg opponents are like 18 and 22 on season early in season that hurts you when not a lot of games played.. On Sunday I played around with it if burgs opponents were 20-20 they would jum like 4 places...

The real problem with poll is it is made for a end of season analysis and I am doing it week by week...it is what it is.

They can harass me all they want I am sure if they don't want me posting it. They could pm me or block me.. I don't feel harassed at all... People just stating there opinion it is all good....
