Looking at the talent and experience returning for the Hornets, I wouldn't be surprised to see another trip to the playoffs. They could possibly have a better team than this past year. I'd expect competition for nearly all positions to be very tough. . . very tough.

Wow! It looks like it's all starting to come together.

I am with you fuzz, we do have a lot of talent coming back, but the one problem I see is were will their heads be, we had an attitude issue pop up this past year and I hope it doesn't come back next year.

Look for the Panthers hard work to start paying off, this is still a junior dominated team and they should be able to win 7 or 8 games.

That's brutal. They could easily start out 1-4. They should win at least two OVC games though.

You have to know the Vikings are looking at the third game as a loss for the panthers, they had them on the ropes last year and to beat the panthers at their place will be in the eyes of the vikings early on, esp after two brutal games for the panthers to start the season.

You have to remember that Chesapeake always used to start out at 0-2 because they always scheduled Portsmouth and Wayne back to back to start off the year. I don't know, Id like to see SV beat em, but it's starting to look like a curse especially after last year.

Thats true but this year if the peake doesn't bring it to start the season the could easily be 1-4 or 0-5 to start conference.

Five conference wins and 2 non and it is on to the playoffs, this team is capable. Non conference schedule is brutal but with some luck 3-2 or 2-3 in the first five and this could be a good season. 23 juniors on this team and it's time for them to step up.

I think they have some options to go with... Of course they have Rye Goodwin who came in for the injured Evan Ferguson in the loss to Oak Hill in the first round of the playoffs last year and then they have the soon to be sophomore Alex Bare who could step in easily and be a 3 year starter. My personal opinion is put the Bare kid back there he has a GREAT arm and tremendous speed and exceptional Feild vision. ive seen him play all through his school and its impressing. I say spread the feild with Goodwin, Murphy, Woods and let Bare throw the ball to them it gives CG that passing option that they have lacked in the past and also will give them a kid who can get in there and lead the team for three years.

Coal Grove probably will win, but don't count out the Hill for the next 2 years. Could be some good competitive games around the corner.

No one is counting out the Hill, I have said that the only people that are going to beat Rock Hill is Rock Hill, I have seem them do it a couple of times over the past few years.

1. Coal grove
2. Rock hill
3.chesapeake
3. Failand
5. South point
6. River valley
I think the top 3 is anyones guess, coal grove has the momentum and confidence, but rock hill and chesapeake ended the year with good notes, and rock hill has the bes t quarterback in ovc...I think failand will be average they could possibly battle for 3rd and ssp and rv rounding out the bottom...I think rock hill will be top 3 for sure, but peake worries me they have been very in consistent

Rock Hill will have a decent back with Harper. I think he's only a sophmore next season but he's a strong runner

Ump the only problem with Rock Hill is their inability all of a sudden to know when to run the ball. In the game against the Grove last year, they would be down inside the 20 trying to pass it or having McCollister run QB draws. If they are going to have a running back that can carry the load then they need to use him.

This senior class gets to try and do something only one other class has been able to do, be OVC champs four straight years, and I am just wondering how a sophmore quarterback would handle the pressure the senior class would put on him to succeed.
