the fighting tigers have definately hit their stride. and the blue devils come to town undefeated, somebody is gonna clean up on points. i hope it's my fighting tigers.their defense the last 2 weeks has been suffocating. against the pass or run.2/ 4-0 teams, somebody has to drop 1.

First of all, let me say that it's great to see Gallia Academy at 4-0. That's a great story right there. Hopefully they can get back in the playoffs where they belong. That being said, I like Ironton by 3 TDs here.

two running teams with great defenses......gahs has done a complete 180 from last season and ironton is always tough especially at the tank im not gonna predict a winner but i expect a game in the low 20's and the game decided by less than 10 points

ImageAt this moment, Joe Eitel's web site is showing them Tigers with a firm lock on first place in the region. If they could wope GAHS Friday, that would really keep them up there..but..they have to win that game first

looking for a big Ionton win here the offensive and defensive lines are just outstanding.
This has to be one of the best Ironton teams in years with the size and speed they have.
Should be a great game Godd luck to both teams and may they stay injury free.

I Look for this to be another good game, Ironton needs to stay focused and not have a let down after what they did to Ashland.

Irontons remaining schedule

4-0...Gallia Academy.....D3 Region 12...#2
3-1...Jonathan Alder.....D4 Regiion 16...#5
3-1...Jackson..............D3 Region 12...#11
3-1...Bishop Hartley.....D4 Region 15...#3
3-1...Milford Fairbanks..D5 Region 20...#11
2-2...Portsmouth.........D4 Region 15...#5

Anyone know why our starting Running Back Tyler Hager wasn't playing at RB in the Ashland game??? Glad We have a good stable of RB's to choose from.

It appears that Ironton is extremely good and it appears Gallia Academy is pretty darn good themselves.

I think this game tells us how good Gallia Academy is.

Gallia always gives Ironton all they have. Ironton usually plays a little lackluster in my opinion. I am concerned about the high of the ashland surprise romp turning the wrong way in the tigers heads. They need to approach it the same way mentally as they did against ashland... This is just as big as a game, if not bigger. I think Ironton will struggle early, stay close, and put it away after the half.. very quicklly after the half i might add...

Have seen all the GAHS games this year. They have had some problems being consistent, but have been able to win all four of their games. They need to put together 48 minutes of football Friday night.

My wife and step-son have never seen or been to the tank. What a game to break them in, not to mention the overall friday night atmosphere. Gonna be a lot tougher game for the devils than they've had so far.
pappy1 is right, they will have to bring it all for the entire game.

The favorable part of the schedule is over. A lot of people had predicted us to be 4-0 going into week 5....So here we are... History wise it doesn't look good for the Blue... We have come to the I-town game and been undefeated many times but never been able to pull out a win...Our last victory over the tigers was in 2006, but not a Lutz coached team....The tigers are starting to roll, plus we are playing at the tank, could be a long night for the blue.... Hopefully the tigers will come into the game thinking "Its only Gallia"....LOL... Not a must win for the Blue.... 5 league games to close the season + the league title is within reach....
