The Buckeyes travel to McArthur to take on the Vinton County Vikings in Week 8. NY is undefeated in league play and marches on toward defending the TVC Ohio title.

NY has played Vinton County more times than any other team, as the Buckeyes have played the Vikings every year since consolidation except 1973 when a teachers strike at Vinton County prevented this game from being played.

lets face it, NY is going to put a pretty bad whooping on VC.....they tried hard every year, and my heart goes out to them, but they just cant match up to the speed and size on NY. also, when alex comes on down to NY next week they will have another thing coming, just for mention it this week, lets not start thinking about it now, but i talked to a few of the boys and trust me they are HUNGRY for some spartans, that should be a pretty good domination next friday......BUT lets put one on em this friday first!
