Cal Preps:

Wheelersburg 42
Waverly 6

This game will be over real quick. IMHO the burgs speed will be to much for the tigers. The 2nd and 3rd string will see alot of time. The burg by at least 35

Burg wins easy.....try not to look ahead to Valley and West....don't get hurt, and get ready to try and bring the golden trophy back to the burg where it has been for so many years....go burg

Wheelersburg has usually struggled at Waverly over the years, but this year should be a blowout by halftime if they play up to their potential and don't look ahead to next week. I think Schankweiler will eclipse the 1000 yard rushing mark before halftime. I think he only needs 110 yards to hit 1000.

Why is there a vote on this game? Disrespect to the Tiger posters. Uncalled for. Burg wins

i wonder why wheelersburg does not play well against waverly year in and year out? usually struggle with covering the pass and a lot of false starts/fumbles.

no computer points for this game. Burg will probably drop in the points and out of top 8.
They will need a win over Valley or West to get in the playoffs.

I'm not so sure about that. Northwest can move the ball pretty good. Waverly just might go 0-10 on the season.

Burg knew this coming in that this would more than likely be a no points game, so they will have to take care of that in week 9 and 10. If Burg wins out, they will more than likely host in week 11..

Still alot of shaking and moving can happen in the region. Big games this week are Valley-West. If Valley wins, they will lock up a playoff spot, but will finish with two strong games in Burg and Minford. Oak Hill-Symmes Valley. This game won't be a pushover for the Oaks.

it won't be a "no" points game. they will get points for defeating a D3 team if they win.

i agree. northwest isn't all that bad. they just don't seem to be able to get it all together.

5/8= 0.625 first level points is what they'll get . PHS, Rock Hill, NW will not win. Fairland is a maybe with Chesapeke. Minford is the only for sure win this week. I said since after week 2 Burg needs to win out to make it in. After this week, Burg will have 9.775, if Fairland doesn't make it by Chesapeke, and will probably drop to 9.

Sorry for the Tigers but it looks like 0-8, has Waverly ever had a 0-8 season in school history?

my guess is that when the scoreboard clock hits 0:00 on Friday night three weeks from now there will be more than one team that wished they had an additional 0.625 points in their total. :)
