Wk. 1 Nelsonville-York@Trimble(Sat. Aug. 27th)

Post by Orange and Brown »

The Battle for the First National Bank (FNB) Trophy kicks off @ 7:30 on Sat. Aug 27th.....

Once again these 2 rivals battle for the FNB trophy and more importantly bragging rights for another year!

NY brings back most of there starters and will be opening things up. Trimble football is Trimble football and Phil will be running his combination spread and Good old fashioned option football

Whos gonna win? Will NY continue there current win streak or will the Tomcats snap that streak?

I'm going with the Buckeyes by 16.... I think the Cats will hang around til halftime then the Bucks will pull away!

This will be the hardest hitting game of the year for both teams! Can't wait to hear them pads crackin!!!!!!

y\YOU HAVE TO START AT 1-0 BEFORE YOU CAN GO 10-0..... ONE WEEK AT A TIME!

GO BUCKS!!!!!!!

I wish this game was on Friday night. That means one less day to prepare for Newark Catholic in Week 2.

Almost always a close game. Glad they went with the Jackson/Wellston theory and moved this one to Saturday so I can see it. The only bad thing is that this game is at Trimble which = no parking and no seating. I really think the ESPN rise up project that is helping Wellston should have given a look to Trimble. The kids and fans of Trimble are deserving of a better facility than what they have.

davey is pretty upset about playin on saturday. I think the score will reflect his mood. i wouldn't want to be a tomcat this week and since when does trimble run the option? never heard that one before.....

The only way NY scores 58 is if Kevin Meade is calling the offense. The current leadership struggles to score 58 in 2-3 games. lets be a bit reasonable:

Buckeyes 30
Cats 12
