Kirtland 42

Bucyrus Wynford - 0 Final

Kirtland seems like the bus everyone has to stop this year.

Coldwater 41

Hicksville 21

Looks like a Kirtland vs Coldwater final. This ought to be a fantastic matchup.

I think all the coaches in the southeast district ought to "pick the brains" of the MAC coaches and see how they get it done year after year, Coldwater-Delphos St. John- Marion Local - Minster, Anna, St. Henry, etc.. It's like an unbelievable occurence every year or maybe it's just in the water. Half the time they have to beat each other to get to the semi's or finals and the bad part for the rest of the state is that this happens in most sports for the boys and girls from this league. Is there anything that conference is not good in ?

St. Henry and Coldwater are the two towns just north of Eldora Speedway if you like dirt racing. The others, Versailles, Anna, etc fill in around. What I never understood. Their is nothing there but farms and small towns. I could never figure out where they get all the kids from. Celina is the only big town there, and from what I've seen the other schools beat them to death.

Ouch! I think Chagrin lost the finals last year to Columbus bishop Hartley in div4. & just went out to mooney in div3. They've been so close for several years!

Also,I just looked @ Kirtland. They went 10-0 last year. Man handled almost entire schedule & got hammered by the University of Ursuline 48-0 in regional finals last year! Ursuline finished in 10th place this year, less than .40 points from 8th place in region!
Kirtland had to sigh a Big ole relief to see Ursi not qualify!
I bet coldwater will give them a good game & maybe a little MAC orientation on top of that.
Good luck to both!
