If Peake gets the ball in Thompson's hands, they have a chance. He may be the fastest kid on any field in the conference this Friday. I'd like to see Gunther get about 15 carries and back my argument that he may be the best back CG has had for a while. All in all, CG wins by multiple scores.

There is never an underdog in this match up. I think Chesapeakes strength of schedule may pay off in this contest. If Chesapeake Can play a full game the way they played the 2nd half of the Fairland game then they get the win but if Coal grove has great ball control then the grove will more than likely come away with the W.

think if the grove wins out (with some serious help in region 19) they could sneak into the postseason with a #7 or 8 seed?

In years past, the strength of schedule argument would have favored the Peake (at least recent years), but not this year. Both teams played Valley in the non-conference with Coal Grove playing Wheelersburg and Bishop Ready. Those two teams are strong enough to balance out what Peake has played this year. I think both teams have played strong schedules and I expect one heck of a football game for the OVC title. Best of luck to both teams.

Going with Peake in a upset CG may still be alittle banged up and Peake playing with confidence should be a good and well played game from both teams.
CG can win I know this but still going with Peake

Agreed! CG had a MUCH harder schedule. For some reason people think SV compares with Burg and Ready.

But Wayne, WV and Lucasville don't? Strength of schedule doesn't just mean who all the great teams you have played and got the pants beat off of you its games that the other team is good and you have to come together and grind out wins as a team!
