I never told you how to feel.I just think your insane if you don't think a PVC title matters to the people in Hannibal. The Pilots only have one midgit league title in basketball and football since joining the league and that was 08.You won't make playoffs without winning this game and you won't win PVC without winning the game so they are kinda tied together.

Spy, just wanted to say thanks for finally acknowledging the fact the the Cadets may share the title! And now as long as the Pilots beat Frontier Saturday afternoon, I could care less if FF wins or loses Saturday night!!!!!!!! Do think they have a fighting chance though.

Won the PVC more than once in football and could not care less about the sport of basketball.

No one in Hannibal cares about the PVC, especially when it comes to the playoffs. No one will be excited about a possible PVC title tomorrow. Everyone will be excited that the playoffs are now extremely realistic with the news of Eastern. Don't project your feelings on a PVC title on others. Not everyone cares, especially when almost half the league can share a "title."

Game is at 3 or 3:30. River would probably rather come in as 8th seed and play 5 wide Danville than be 7th and play power run N.Catholic.

I think there was a season when PVC had a 4-way co-championship, like maybe, the first or second year River joined the league.

Two teams have had to forfeit games over the last month. Both have significantly helped River. The Pilots better not squander this opportunity given to them.

I think River will do just enough to win this game. It'll be heavily scouted by either Danville or NC (probable opponent) so coach won't use entire playbook, LOL. Pilots by 14.

IF River gets in, Danville or Rosecrans are the likely opponents. NC will most likely be jumped by both if each wins this week.

LOL, to use Flannerys entire playbook it would take 4 games not 4 quarters!!!!!!

So true on the playbook.
If Asturi is healthy enough to run like he has all season, I'd force-feed that senior until he can't take it any longer, than give it to Sapp until he starts his fumble-itis then go back to Asturi. Throw in some quick slants to Brown, maybe 1 to Necessary if he doesn't drop any, and keep Frontier's defense on the field.
I would say this game is in the 35-14 range, but then again, it's gonna rain all afternoon Saturday so it'll get sloppy.

Flannery is going to have some tough decisions to make come Sat. Asturi will be good to go, needing around 160 for 1000 yrds rushing. How long do you leave him in with playoffs probable in 6 days? Sapp proved last week he can carry the load if he has to and hasnt fumbled in three games. He is over 700 yards rushing now. Pilots are going to need both of them healthy in week 11 if they make it. John Stewart is capable of getting his share of the carries if need be also. Look for Asturi to get some carries early and hopefully break a couple big ones, but if River gets a good lead you may not see much of him the second half.
