Hartley has lost three fumbles inside their 30 and then gave up a score

Thanks for keeping me honest! Just recanting what I'm gathering from other sites, and broadcasts. Hartley, I'm sure, will rebound in the second half. St. C, sounds like a Hell of a game so far. I'll do my best to gather other scores.

Well, didn't take long. Hartley scores. CM Scores

Now:

Hartley 21
Clinton Massie 31 Early in the third

Newark Catholic 24
Mogodore 14 3rd Qtr

Hope Hartley loses...should've lost last week. Seems like CM always falls just short deep in the postseason....would like to see them break through.

Ironman - Regardless of the All-Star pedigree at Hartley ;-) , it is nearly impossible to turn the ball over five times and win a game, especially in HS. About 5 minutes left and CM scores again! Looks like the Hawks may be going down.

Im surprised at the Hartley score, but I dont care who you are if you have 5 TO against good competition you're going to get beat.

a little info on clinton-massie going into tonight's game...

Clinton-Massie is likely to claim the state record for points scored in a single season. The Falcons’ tally in a 35-7 rout of Milton Union last week in the Region 16 final was enough to equal the current state record of 731, according to Ohio High School Athletic Association records. Marion Pleasant scored 731 in 15 games in 2001 on its way to a Division V state runner-up finish

add 45 more...

Ironman - Thanks for the recap and closure. I took a Carlsberg break and got completely hijacked by my wife. She took over the computer and I was unable to finish the updates. So much for two wireless routers and a Kindle Fire    That sure as Hell does me a lot of good. :122245

Haha. No problem.

Pretty interesting games tonight. New Albany missed a short FG in the final minutes against Trotwood. Hartley had 5 turnovers that led to 31 points for Clinton-Massie, and McComb erased a 21 point deficit before losing in triple OT to Marion Local. Pretty surprised that Norwayne lost too.

Clinton-Massie was the big surprise for me tonight, I thought that this would be a last second score game. I expected St.C vs Norwayne to come down to a couple of plays or series, and it did. D IV looks like a great final.

NC vs Mogodore, I expected to be a last minute battle, and it wasn't. Maria Stein and McComb, frankly, almost always a coin-toss, as it was tonight.

The big schools, well, OK, I'm gonna say it, down our way, who cares?

Looks like weak region 15 is going to another Division 4 championship game. After beating a mighty power from North East Ohio.
