This should be a great game at Ed Miller Stadium. Thoughts?

I hope its a better outcome than last time. Eddie had a terrible game passing against them. I think he was just to psyched up. He was a junior in his first playoff game, lol. This year, we have a senior QB and a good Oline and a better defense. We will be more competitive.

LU is battle tested!! They have only played 2 games where the opponent is in same region or lower.

8/29 H Berne Union (1-9) [6:21] W 60-0
9/5 A Lakewood (2-8) [3:9] W 48-13
9/12 H Portsmouth West (7-3) [5:17] W 13-7
9/19 A Amanda-Clearcreek (6-4) [4:13] L 16-20
9/26 H Bloom-Carroll (4-6) [4:13] W 20-19
10/3 A Hamilton Township (7-3) [2:5] L 28-49
10/10 H Logan Elm (7-3) [3:9] W 22-0
10/17 H Teays Valley (8-2) [2:5] L 19-29
10/24 A Circleville (6-4) [4:14] W 33-14
10/31 H Fairfield Union (2-8) [4:13] W 34-14

We have to play our A game. And we cant keep turning the ball over like we have the last 2 games. I like our defensive matchup against their Offense but the pass coverage needs some more work! And I would love to see some trick plays in there once or twice. We have the athletes to make some good gains on those type plays. Time to put them in the playbook! Good luck BURG!

Burg will need to hold on to the ball to win by 3 scores. Can they do it? I believe so. They have the best linemen (offensive and defensive) in our area. I look for Burg to continue to run the ball well. Also, to keep getting that D line in the backfield. They cause some major disruptions last week and look for them to continue the dominance at the LOS. One game at a time fellas. Take care of business, be disciplined and trust your teammates.

Burg should win. But they better not overlook LU. They are battle tested and have played a good schedule. This could be closer than some think.

LU has 23 seniors! This is going to be a ball game! LU kicking game is horrible this will be the difference in the game. Pirates win 21-19

Really? You are hilarious and transparent, you've been running your mouth since week 2 saying that burg couldn't beat Ironton if they played again, over an over again, now that the rematch is more than likely gonna happen your desperately hoping that lu beats burg so that you don't have to be proven wrong... Again..... Then you can continue to run your mouth about the what ifs and if nots. Your a coward just plain terrified of eating anymore crow this year lol, you've had a belly full I know!
