Week 9: Piketon (3-5) v Paint Valley (6-2)

Post by PHS75 »

Piketon will be taking the last two games on the road with the first stopping in Bainbridge to take on the Bearcats. Piketon will be putting an upsetting 41-0 loss to the Unioto Shermans behind them as they move into week 9. The Bearcats have not lost a game since week 3 with both losses coming from non conference games. They will be playing their last home game this year following a 35-6 win last week over the Adena Warriors. What does everyone think of this matchup? Piketon has some things to work out after this past week and if the line can step up and keep the Bearcats out of the backfield I think this will be a tough but good game.

Good luck Streaks.

The Streaks are not very good. This game will be a blowout.

Unioto beat Piketon with speed. I think Paint Valley is faster than Unioto.

I saw in the latest state rankings that someone had voted Paint Valley as the #1 team in D7. While I respect the Bearcats, this is absolutely laughable.(By the way, Trimble also got a vote for #1.) As for Friday, unfortunately, I fear the Bearcats will roll over the Red Streaks. However, GO STREAKS!!!!

Yeah, until Marion Local loses no one else is #1.

PV wins this one big on their Senior Night.

Bearcats should roll in this one and be able to work on the screen game.

This is the team we all expected all season. Shame we had to wait until week 9 to see them.
