Remember with some folks "logic" in this forum, Hartley would be south eastern Ohio because of the "region" their in

That is incorrect. Football has TONS of teams from up north in regions with southeastern Ohio teams. Athens shared a region with Dayton Thurgood Marshal, Springfield Shawnee, Kettering Alter last year - and those teams are not even close to southeast Ohio.

The game can be heard on 970 WATH and 970wath.com (970 WATH smartphone app) with pre game starting at 6:30 from Massillon. Be sure to tune in at 6:30 for a special game intro.

Immediately following the OU game on Power 105 around 8:15, we will simulcast the game on Power 105 (wxtq.com) as well!

Go Tomcats!

Tomcats need to set the tone of the game early, by coming out and hitting them in the mouth... Show them why you are there !!

If you are in the Pomeroy area, we will be picking up the OHSAA Radio feed of the game on WMPO 97.1 FM. We will also stream the game at www.wyvk.com.

Coming on Jan 2, the 97.1 FM frequency will change to 103.7 FM "The Game", with a larger coverage area.

Unless you have a friend with DirectTV, you unfortunately, are SOL. That is, unless one of the restaurant/bar establishments in Marietta has DirectTV.

Marion 14
Trimble 0
half
I didn't like that prevent defense call. Seems like Trimble has stopped their offense well

Marion just scored off 2nd pick in 3rd quarter
26-0 Flyers

game could have been 7-7 at half. Really played well in 1st half minus 2 plays. Especially on D. Gave up td with 2seconds left in half.
3rd started with a pick on 1st play. Marion scored fast. Tomcats qb them is nearly sacked, tried to save play but threw a bad pick. Marion scored quick

Trimble was shocking the state in that first half. Mistakes on offense is the difference.

td Marion
33-0
Tomcats can't chase all of these guys now. And the run game isn't working anymore. Hope they finish with pride. Still doesn't take away from an impressive half.

still 33-0. Offense can't move but defense is now stopping them. This is not the embarrassment that some jerks said it would be. Despite Marion having film for a year, they had to work for it.

Final score
Marion Local 33
Trimble 0

Tomcats finish 14-1 State runner-up

They did not give in in the 4th, finished with pride. You will always remember this. Congratulations on a dream season!
