Yes they do but it will be a common opponent. You can start to judge (to a point) how you stack up. Of course once conference play starts thats all out the window.

Cole Grove ALWAYS plays Valley hard and gives them all they want! This game will be close through 3 quarters and Valley will grind them down in the fourth much like in the past meetings and similar to this years Burg, CG game... In my Humble opinion.
I am not sure I am much of a believer that you can take common opponents and surmise any truly valid conclusions... ESPECIALLY in High school football. So MANY VARIABLES change from week to week. Again only IMHO! Stay blessed and injury free fellas!!!!

Coal Grove will have trouble stopping Valleys running game anybody that went to the Van Buren game last night knows that Valley will not face a harder opponent in regular season than Van Buren that was one of the hardest hitting teams I have seen in a long time and they could not stop Valleys running game Valley 28 Coal Grove 14

Yeah but sorry in high school common opponents mean nothing. It's all about match ups. Valley runs a different scheme than burg both offense and defense. I look for this game to be close until the 4th qtr just like valleys first 2 games then valley pulls away. Valley plays so many different players they just outlast the other team.
