This game will by far be the toughest game West will see all year. Seen this team in the playoffs last year at Burg and was very impressed. From what I understand they return a lot of last years team along with their star back in Jacob Basso. Balanced offense and pretty stiff defense. Not a very good pick up for West IMO.

Saw them against burg and valley also. They are tough and do return a lot.

Style wise they probably play more to our strength than Portsmouth did. We'll be an underdog, but I think we can compete.

Agree Kool. But lets also hope for once West gets a small home field advantage both in the way the ball bounces and ref calls. West team is starting to gel and find its rhythm. Learn from losses, get better for it, and play on with confidence.

I think we're gonna look back at the end of the year and say this is one of the tougher schedules that west has played in a long time.

I am not an LU fan, but the school I support competed in the same league as LU for 35+ years up until this year. I watched them in week one when they played Berne Union. This is one of the best LU teams ever. Basso has got a fire in his load that makes him a VERY hard kid to stop. Vannatta is a solid QB and has mobility. Strong on the offensive line. One of Vannatta's favorite targets is the tight end, Snyder. They go about three or four deep in the backfield.

Defensively they're stout. Could be a long night for Wes' side

I REALLY am rooting for the West Side but my gut tells me LU is Gonna be too much for them. Prove me wrong West and stay injury free!! Keep fighting and IMPROVING!!

Well look who surfaced! Not sure which team will make it ugly. More than likely we disagree.You probably would be better off worrying about Ironton. Or do you still root for them?!lol

I am willing to place money on this one. I have seen LU and West both. My gut says West with first win. We will see soon enough. BEST OF LUCK WEST!

Except for two plays in the first half, west played great defense Friday. We could never sustain field position and the last quarter we got tired which led to some long runs. Not a big fan of the squib kicking, though I understand why they did it because of Portsmouth's speed. That and going for it on fourth so many times kept us playing at mid field to our end all night.

West is playing a lot of young kids and this schedule is definitely trial by fire. If anything we should be ready to go by SOC time.

West had 3 LONG passes beat them Friday night. 3RD an long td. 30 seconds in half long pass td, in 2nd half same. take that away different game. Like I said after game they will compete.

West gave up 69 points in 2 games. 49 of them on long passes. Get that straighten out be tough to beat. looked a helluva a lot better against Portsmouth.
