Logan will need a miracle and then some. At the top row it was all head shaking last week. I’m sure it will be the same this week. Logan is 1-6 vs teays valley.

Someone asked has Logan ever had a 0-10 season....... It will be this season. After watching what I watched Friday night. I don't see a win this season. Meigs or Waverly will be the best shot at a win. And no disrespect to Meigs or Waverly but those games should not be even close. I've heard Meigs has a solid team and Waverly isn't a slouch.

Logan's only winless season was 1978 - which was largely cancelled due to the LHS Teachers' Strike.

Logan's worst seasons:

1929: 1-8
1930: 1-8
1953: 1-8
1978: 0-1-1 (Only played two games due to LHS Teacher's Strike)
1981: 1-8-1
2011: 1-9

Teays Valley will challenge the Chiefs physically. They will fire off the ball and hit you hard on offense and the linebackers play down hill (but disciplined) in the run game. Logan will have to answer the call physically to compete.

Waverly will drill Logan. You obviously have no idea what Waverly has on the field this year. You still think it's 1979 and we're in the SEOAL? I'll call it right now...running clock.

Waverly will drill Logan? Hey old boy, you obviously have no idea what Waverly has on the field. You still think it’s 2018 and you are no longer in SEO. Let me give you a clue — Piketon isn’t Logan. Look at your schedule. I certainly hope you win a lot of games. You should. Thanks for inviting Logan down there to play. Here’s to a happy reunion.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a fan base turn on a season so quickly. I mean, Tri-Valley was a state runner up last year for a reason.

It's not the Logan we have grown accustom to in 25 yrs of coach Perry and coach Amex. In the last 8 years we have watched classes, promising classes, come to the varsity level and go 2-8, 3-7, 1-9, 5-5. Struggling to beat teams Logan should be winning by 30pts. This weeks opponent... Teays Valley, good but not a juggernaut team and has never been. They will beat Logan by 35 and Logan go to 1-5 against Teays. The teams Logan is losing to or struggling to beat, "on paper" should never happen. I've said it before and I'll say it again. The coach staff and administration is going to have to come up with some way to get the Johnny's and Joe's interested in the sport again.
As sad as that is.   And going 1-9, 3-7, 2-8 ain't cutting it.

We basically know what's on up the road. No one is turning on anything. Unpreparedness, mistakes, communication confusion, and bad decisions coming from the sidelines is a killer. This pattern speaks for itself. Tri-Valley was a runner up last year, but has no bearing on Logan's performance. Did Tri-Valley tell Logan to stay in the shotgun with numerous bad snaps?  Look for another beat down with no fight again this coming Friday California. :( Sad, very sad!

This is the big problem right here the way I see it. Other sports are thriving at Logan right now ( basketball, soccer, even tennis last year) so the athletes are there, they are just not playing football for whatever reason. Seems like we are the new Warren now. The lower levels have been average at best for many years now in football except maybe the 2015 seniors. They used to win 80 percent or more when Amyx was there .Whether a new coach can get that trend turned around is anybodys guess but I got a feeling we are about to see.

And I know your meaning here as well 87. Enough Athletes to compete on the Football team and shouldn't be getting blown out by most anyone. Agree also less has been interested, but the ones that have, was and are now capable and coachable to beat them records. We will see as the season moves on. I'm hoping things change for everyones sake. Home gates will continue to get worse.
