Wahama has been outscored 125-0 in 3 games so I hope the sophomores are substituted for before halftime.

I don't know for sure but don't some High Schools out in some of the Western States play 7 o 7 football? Mayby where the numbers are so low in some of these Scho.ols even consider Flag Football. I know this will not be popular with a lot of people, but it could be something to consider

You mean Belpre should be kind to a team that never did have a problem scoring lots of points vs bad teams in the not so far of past when they were winning state titles?

Yeah, they put 70+ on Miller a couple years in a row, 60+ on several TVC teams, including 60-8 & 61-3 against Belpre (once when Belpre was 0-10).

The thing is, Belpre only had about 20 players to begin the season, so there isn't much subbing available even if they wanted to.

I can remember Waham putting up 70+ on Eastern routinely. They’ve got it coming from whoever can do it to them this year. I still don’t think Belpre is good enough to put up that many points

No, tit for tat. Go ahead and run it up if that's what the coach wants. Those 4 state baseball titles and football title mean nothing this year. Numbers have been dwindling for years and they were almost to the point of not having enough for the team until mid August and finally found 6 more bodies to make 20. Fed Hock is in about the same situation. Millersport up here around buckeye lake cancelled their whole football program this year and left other teams scrambling for games. It's happening in all small schools it seems. I know Belpre was very competitive in sports in the 80's and 90's until numbers took a toll on them also and I watched them in the football playoffs a couple years ago up here at Harvest Prep so I respect Belpre's programs. Good luck.

Devol has never run up the score. In fact he hates that part of games. He said that Belpre is just starting to improve and he hopes the best for everyone including Wahama.

Belpre dressing 21 I believe.

48-6 as the Golden Eagles go to 2-2 in a rebuilding year.

Good luck and good health to both teams.

LETS GO EAGLES!

But if it is the right 21. On the average you can be successful playing about 16 players if you can stay health.

Look at Wahama and just think how far the mighty have fallen!

Seems as if Payback is on the minds of a lot of fans. I guess everyone will just have to wait until tomorrow evening.

Nope, resigned to take coaching position @ Hocking College. James Toth who coached Wahama basketball years ago is new coach. He's originally from Man WV and left to go back down that way to coach a few years ago and came back to Wahama this year after he coached Logan WV football team last year.
