Why am I reading about new conferences forming? A year ago folks were talking about how it was the best league going and now people are calling it a dumpster fire? What has happened?

My best reasoning is poor leadership. A few are doing what's best for their schools and not being open minded. To me it's all good though cause I like the looks of that Neo-TVC I've been hearing about. See below:
