The one OH vs Ky matchup an Ohio school should win this week. Fairview is awful.

I hope coach Newsome and the Bobcats win this game. It was a hard road when Newsome took over this program but now they’re on their way for 2 winning seasons in a row, that’s great! Good Luck Green Bobcats.

The Bobcats will win this game. Fairview is a shell of the Fairview teams of the past.. There might be a running clock in this game.

Bobcats will advance to 4-1. Darnell is getting more comfortable throwing the ball and the mixture of Alec Smith and Ethan Huffman is getting more explosive every week. Oh and by the way big Ricky Nash is back from his injury. It's getting exciting in the Furnace!

Fairview has struggled for years, with this year being no different.
For Green to lose to them has to be considered a major set back and maybe a reality check.

I don't think anyone did, but this is exactly why coaches and programs expect and need players to buy into the off-season program as well. It's not enough to just show up half way into August and say I'm here let's win. It takes work and dedication throughout the off-season to pile up the wins come week 1.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they face some trouble in SOC play. The first half of their schedule was horrid, including a 40 point loss to CCPA (good first year coach but a Not Good team otherwise). Notre Dame would’ve gone 5-0 or 4-1 with Green’s schedule to date. So would the remainder of the SOC I, except for maybe East who probably would’ve gone 4-1 or 3-2.

Great point. While I glad those kids eventually showed back up and got Green's numbers up, it a good life lesson for them that you get out of something what you put into it. When half the team doesn't show up for the majority of summer conditioning and practices, no way Green operating at their full capability and this loss is likely a direct result of it.*
