was shocked st. clairsville lost last night. i dont know what matchups will be here but i think all first round games may be good ones. depending on who the 8th seed is.

Licking Valley is the best team in this region by far. I think they will beat Grandview without much trouble

I think Licking Valley is the best in region again this year and their only chance at a loss this year is to their neighbor on the other side of the hill Granville. Indian Valley will probably lose to Ridgewood for their only loss. St. Clairsville could possibly lose to Indian Creek and Gallipolis could possibly lose to Ironton but those 4 are definitely in. Next 4 are interesting: Heath & Meadowbrook will be out IMO. Bloom-Carroll & Marion Franklin both have 2 big games left they could lose but both should make it in. That leaves 2 spots and If Waverly doesn't fall apart a berth should be theirs and the other will be John Glenn IMO with 3 or 4 losses.

Good chance Indian Valley will get beat this week by Ridgewood. Philo has a good chance of beating Sheridan if the play a full game like they did this pst week at tri valley. With St C getting beat I believe that leaves Licking Valley as the number one seed.

I'm still sticking with my thinking from last week's post above. (Indian Creek did beat St. C friday, Marion Franklin did beat Eastmoor but will lose to Walnut Ridge, John Glenn has a tough one remaining with Tri Valley, Meadowbrook lost again, Waverly surprised me with the margin of victory over AC. Heath will lose 1 or 2 games that's left. If Ironton beats Gallipolis and Waverly loses to Burg later I'll be right on the money.)

St. Clairsville plays Bellaire next, who beat Harrison Central.. I know you have St. Clairsville winning out but Bellaire could very easily win that one.

We will know more about what they face against Garaway as Garaway plays Ridgewood this coming Friday. Ridgewood handled Indian Valley 31-9

Not many st. Clairsville. Won Saturday afternoon. I watched a lot of college football Saturday I will probably up date my projections tonight or tomorrow. A lot of big games week 8. A lot of teams I have projected in have games I am projecting them to lose. So if upsets happen teams will definitely move.

Personally, I want to see Marion-Franklin travel to Gallipolis or Waverly for a 1st round game. I'd travel South to take that game in. I've got a buddy on the M-F staff who might allow me a sideline pass. I did a little traveling years ago with the Sheridan team and was on the sideline for the 2 games with Gallipolis in 2005 playoff game @ Gallipolis won 42-35 in OT by Sheridan and the 2007 opener in the "cornfield" won by Sheridan 21-9. Both were great games.
