When you're slapped in the face with it each year, that's going to happen. Look no farther than the location of the state championship game.
Is there a person alive on this side of Columbus that cares their team is playing for a state championship game? I don’t get the problems.
You don't get it, I understand that.
I do get it. We down here don’t make it to state championship games and if we did we wouldn’t care where it was at. Were Trimble and Burg fans ticked about the site?

The sites are more than fair this year and were last year.

No surprise, what we were figuring.

Teays Valley is closer to Bloom Carroll than Waverly is to Chillicothe. Reward the higher seed and have it at chillicothe.
I may be mistaken, but I believe that Bloom-Carroll is considered the higher seed in this matchup. Winner of every regional matchup either retains or assumes the seed that is closest to one.
I don’t believe so. Goes by the seed until final 4. At that point they can re-arrange match-ups.

Like I said you simply don't get it. To any teams fan base that would be fortunate enough to make it that far, location doesn't matter. However, there's a BUNCH of people out there that travel to games just to see the game played out but when it's x-amount of hours away that really limits the ability to see those games. If all you got from what I was saying was talking about ones team in relation to making it there, then like I said you don't understand.

Tigers are playing some good football right now...was really impressed last night. If we can play up front like that consistently I like our chances in this game.

Waverly O-line was on it last night. I don’t remember Shanks being touched all night and Shoemaker ran for nearly 150 and 3 TD’s.

At least from looking at stats and some pictures it seems like Waverly and BC are very similar in terms of size and what they want to do on offense and style they run. It's going to come down to which team can limit the other's rushing attack and who makes the fewest mistakes both have QBs who can sling it but BC has the QB who's a quality rusher as well. Don't be surprised to see a similar type Burg and Waverly score in this one, Waverly has multiple players the defense is going to have to contain for BC.

Did Bloom Carrol's regular QB play against Amanda-Clearcreek?

Yep, that's a neighborhood rivalry. Otto Kuhns is the Qb and 3 yr starter and he can wing it but BC doesn't play physical football. Regardless of seeding Waverly didn't want LV or John Glenn who were playing their best at year end in the first 2 rds and it worked out that way. This should be an evenly matched game.

Yeah, Otto played against Amanda.

Great kid. Smart as heck. Will be playing at Eastern Illinois next year. FCS school with a halfway decent quarterback tradition. ;)

Bloom is the home team, top team in the bracket is the home team.

Yeah that’s what I was trying to say but for some reason it didn’t occur to say it goes by bracket positioning. Hence why the #1 seed has home field advantage.

Is it true that Bloom Carroll is the home team and will get the home stands for seating? I would think the higher seed would be the home team.
