Unioto Football Coach? Anyone know anything?

Well here we are rolling into the 2nd week of December and not a peep coming out of Unioto. See there is a bunch of head coaching positions posted however it seems as though Unioto hasn't posted anything on OHSAA. Obviously they are going to look internally first and must have an idea on who they would want because I can't imagine them waiting this long and not having the job posted for outsiders to apply.

The thing that is so appealing for a Unioto or Logan Elm
is Gallagher in 7 years took SE and turned them into a top tier program. The best part about that is he started a rebuild and saw it through. Evan is amazing at building culture and setting a standard of excellence across all levels of a program. Jeff Metzler has done a great job laying a strong standard for the Unioto program Gallagher would step in and build in his vision and be prepared for quick success

Let’s give credit where credit is due. Lane Ruby is the one most responsible for the turn around at SE. Gallaugher was 6-24 the 3 years he coached when Ruby was in middle school.

I don't doubt you've heard it for a second. Typically when someone pops up with that 1st post out of left field, that no one has mentioned means they've got a little info

I am just an old man from Jackson, but from some of my Vinton County and Unioto friends say your next football coach will be....Matt Hoops. He has always preferred football over basketball. He is already coaching football at the Jr. High level and he is coaching with his father and will be coaching his sons. AND IF THAT IS THE CASE....MATT COMBS WILL BE THE NEXT THE BASKETBALL COACH AT UNIOTO. BET THE FARM!

Combs will need the athletic directors position to leave VC. I don’t see how it would be possible for him to remain in VC as the athletic director and coach basketball at Unioto. He’s pretty well compensated in McArthur.
