2020 River Valley Raiders Football Schedule

Piketon/River Valley game should be pretty good. I would say Raiders have edge on defense and Red Streaks have edge on offense. It will be fun to watch.

I think with what Piketon has coming back and especially at QB, I don't believe this will be close.

Yes they did. That team was better that year then the 4-5 record showed. In my opinion this season was a real turning point for the Raiders program, or at least it would have been. They were starting to turn a corner with the program and Coach Triplett had things going the right way. Unfortunately this was his last season, and the next year, 1998, started the 4 straight 0-10 seasons.

From what I have been told, they are not playing a Week 10 game. I do know that they have looked for a game. They have reached out to a couple teams with no luck, and have been contacted by a few teams with no outcome. The schedule is set at 9.

Yes I remember that. From being a very competitive, hard nosed team with Triplett And as you said. It was a turning point. Unfortunately for the Raiders it was a bad turning point. For Triplett though; he went on to some successful tenures.

Got ya, I was curious because I've heard there's a possibility that Green might not field a team this year and if you look at the schedule they're playing Eastern Pike in week 10. Google maps only have River Valley and EP 40 minutes apart or so. Again that would be totally dependent on if Green was unable to field a team as it is a league game otherwise.

Sometimes it's just what is best if he sees he's not going to get the numbers it's best for everyone involved to just cancel early.
