2020 Unioto 29 - 55 Paint Valley

Post by Bumpy »

Both come in at 2-1 each with a loss to a good Adena team. I think the Tanks have a hard time stopping PV's ground game, PV 35-17.

I think if Unioto has the ball and is down with 30 or fewer seconds that maybe....MAYBE PV should keep Unioto’s receivers in front of them. Maybe back up a couple safeties 20-30 yards if necessary. Guarding the field from the 30-50 yard line is pretty silly.

Not when you have a kicker drilling them from 40. Gotta pick your poison

40 yard FG you can’t control...tip your cap. Letting receivers behind you on the last play of the game is a 4th grade recess strategy.

Hard to argue that

I have seen both. On youtube.

It looks like PV is more physical.

We prefer they didn’t

PV should win this. Kinda obvious. I'll say 37-20
Unioto D4 team losing to D6 teams. Has to suck

This debate is as old as time itself but there really isn’t a big difference in numbers if you look across the schools from year to year. You’re gonna see 40-50 kids on the teams from top to bottom most years. It would be different if Unioto was dressing 80 kids but we don’t. But I will say that losing to any team in any division really sucks.

Unioto just has a much larger segment of the school population who doesn’t play football than the other schools in the league. That’s their advantage, I guess.

It will be strange for me because I won't be covering Paint Valley this Friday. I will be in Knightstown, Indiana covering their game against Eastern Hancock. I sort of know how badly the Bearcats want this game. I won't make A prediction on the outcome but will say, if the Bearcats lines continue to plays like they have the last two weeks, they have a great chance to win. Watch out for #7 for the Bearcats, the young Sophomore is playing very well.

Both teams coming in at 2-1 should be a good ballgame. I think Paint Valley takes this one 38-27.

I am guessing Unioto should win. I heard before the season that Adena was the only league competition Unioto had.

Some kids should never be allowed doing interviews and some parents shouldn’t be given key boards. I’m just glad I don’t fit into either category

Shame Piketon and Zane Trace wasn’t competition for the tanks, might have been good game film to review for the Cats!

One day away. Wish I could make it to the game. Would be a fun one to watch. Will definitely be listening in though.
