Hard pass for Portsmouth. No way they want to play the likes of Jackson, Chillicothe, Waverly, and Burg on top of already playing Ironton & Gallia. Portsmouth can’t consistently compete in the OVC, why would they want this to happen to get beat week after week? They would easily be the smallest school in this 4xl you have, makes no sense.

Portsmouth and Portsmouth West could move to 3XL. I like the concept. I like TVC Ohio but if something happens, it would be worth thinking about.

It needs English soccer style promotion/relegation where the bottom team from each league drops a division and the top team moves up a division each year.

River Valley probably wouldn’t jump ship. Nor South Gallia. River Valley spent a few years in the OVC joining the TVC.

Ironton, Waverly, Chillicothe, Jackson and Burg would be a good division
4 conference games, 8 basketball conference games.
The new parkway from Burg to valley 23 makes this a viable option. a lot of great $$ games.

leaves plenty of room on the schedule to play non conference games.
