Warren running game looked top-notch tonight.
But the Little Muskies have a long history with a lot of wins.
Call it a good close game.

Rooting with Warren. They have some weapons. Taylor is putting up crazy numbers and spreading it out

I agree with the close game take. The story of our season has been defense though. Our 1st team defense hasn’t been scored on since Week 3.

I'll take John Glenn in this game, but I think it will be close.

Warren will keep it close but i think strength of schedule is the difference in this one.
JG opponents record 25-15
Warren opponenets 13-33

Warren did play a state team pretty close but the rest of the schedule was pretty bad

I watched that game they did play a good game vs fort frye. Sheridan and Tri Valley Meadowbrook are pretty good also also a lot bigger than FF

John Glenn is also starting a freshman Qb in Noah Winland who will be making his 3rd career start.

Fort Frye also beat Meadowbrook the last time they played. I do agree with you though John Glenn plays a harder schedule.

Meadowbrook is a different team this year than last years 5-5 squad

Meadowbrook also has played a way worse schedule this year no Mogadore , Fort Frye , St Clairsville , or Bloom Carroll. Davis Singleton is a stud but let’s not kid ourselves Meadowbrook best win is 20-13 win over John Glenn.

Gonna be a great game. Can’t wait to see this matchup. Two pretty evenly matched teams.

This isn’t good for JG. I’m sure he’s good, but he’d better pack his lunch bucket because he’s going to get hit.

Meigs is 3-4, but their QB was out when Warren played them. There isn’t a great win on the record.

If the teams you happen to be playing aren’t winning, the only thing you can do is beat them the way you are supposed to beat them. Since the Logan game (which Warren won 28-14 and still wasn’t quite hitting on all cylinders), Warren has scored 45 points per game and the first team defense hasn’t given up a point (the 13 that Fairfield Union scored was on a kickoff and their first team offense against the reserve defense late). It doesn’t mean they’ll win or lose the next game, but at least we aren’t sitting here talking about how they are barely beating bad teams.

A win this week would definitely add some validation to the record, but really, given the circumstances of this season and the recent history of the program, 10 or 20 years from now the kids will just talk about how they helped turn around the program and not how good any single team was on the schedule. It’s part of the process of becoming a winning program.

Side note, Kurt Taylor went over 5k passing yards in his career and Evan Gandee broke his own single season co-record with his 11th receiving TD tonight. Gandee needs around 145 yards for a second 1k season.

He probably gets hit all the time in the rugged MVL.
