Good season.

Weaker schedule sets in for NW & Ready marches on, with a heavy Foot!

Congrats to Northwest on a great season but this is just a tall task for most teams. Enjoy the moment.

Congrats to the mohawks a great season. Time to break out the round balls. Ready is just a different kind of beast. As much as I’d like to seen NW keep this game close I don’t see it happening. I look for a running clock

Ready plays at Fortress Field in Obetz (southeast side of Columbus)- home of the Ohio Machine Professional Lacrosse Team. Stadium seats 6500 and all seating is on one side of field. Very nice facility. This facility is hosting the State Cross Country Championships in a few weeks. Have to agree that it will be a uphill battle for Northwest.

How about we all stop saying how bad NW gets beat and focus on them making it to the 2nd round? Why Does everything have to be negative?

Ready could lose a lot of players to a positive Covid test and don’t think it couldn’t happen. Just ask Chillicothe about that!!!

Northwest will more than likely lose this one. However everyone wants to talk about Northwest’s weak schedule but how many teams in the SOC 2 outside of Waverly and Wheelersburg would have anything for Ready??

Hopefully these kids take pride in their season and go into this game and fight hard. All they can do is play their game and try to play mistake free football (which they haven’t really done in any of their big games this season) and come out with their heads held high.

I picked the Portsmouth and northwest game wrong. I underestimated the Mohawks. The Campbell kid is very fast. But I didn’t give Portsmouth any shot if they won last night and had to go to Columbus. I don’t think northwest wins this game either. Ready is a different beast. But northwest has had a amazing year and go in there and play the best you can. Never know what can happen

So proud of these kids man. They and Bill and the staff take constant criticism and all they do is keep showing up and working. Is it an uphill battle this week? Yep. Will we show up and let it all hang out and let the rough side drag? Yep. Proud to be a Mohawk and proud of these dudes. Kids and coaches both.

Yes but Portsmouth was a 1-4 team lost all good talent the last two years. They had no reason being in playoffs but should have took the 2 extra games instead. If northwest ever wants to be good they need to spread it out, need a passing game. Playing bigger schools that bunched up wing T will not work!! Look what happen against Valley last place in SOC II.

No doubt that Northwest is the underdog here, but this isn't a great Ready team in my opinion.

Ready has put out some legit squads. Maybe this is one of them but I do not think this is a classic Ready team. They have one good win. The rest are not impressive. They will probably win this game handily, but I think Northwest can at least somewhat compete if they take care of the ball and grind out some first downs.

We didn't run the wing t against Valley, we threw the ball 20 times in that game. Went into that game way over confident and played really bad, not taking away from the Valley kids they beat us..we went back to the bunched up wing t in week 5. We lost some kids that really affected the passing game. Our jv does throw the ball alot when we have the right personnel.

Wishing the Mohawks the best Saturday night in Columbus. Yes, it is going to be difficult. Yes, on paper Ready should win. We are going to make the trip and play the game. The excitement and community feelings are at an all time high. Win or lose, NW is playing in the second week of the playoffs.

I wondered why they bunched up because watching them play against our team they had good skill players in junior high 2-3 years back. Also they ran a spread out offense then but people told me they don’t run the same offense in high school which didn’t make since.
