Kinda ironic. We have lighting throughout the 3rd quarter. Piketon takes the lead then they delay the game.

Yes, because that’s how weather delays work. The Piketon sideline clearly alerted the officials about the lightning and then they took their word for it and called for the delay.

I’ve seen it a million times.

Yes, because that’s how weather delays work. The Piketon sideline clearly alerted the officials about the lightning and then they took their word for it and called for the delay.

I’ve seen it a million times.
Thought the rule changed last year that lightning didn’t automatically mean a delay, if it’s beyond the horizon?

Has to be a certain type of lightning, perhaps, a red streak of lightning to cause a delay. Especially in this case

But, it really does have to be a streak and not just a flash. Streaks tend to be closer or something.
