Going to be a good squad. Plenty of skilled kids. Line depth is there but young. Special teams will be great and probably will be the difference in a couple of wins.

Defense will be their strong point heading into Early play. Offense will be fine once the new kids find their rhythm

Tough schedule.

With first scrimmage next week, should have a better idea what to expect (main question mark I have is up front on both sides of ball). Even though "the Burg era is over" (according to some on here), a core of the Lattimore brothers, Arthur, Swords, Williams, etc. still looks pretty solid to me.*

Has anyone been to see any of their 7v7s? I think they have been in 2 or 3.

Saw their Coal Grove one. Did very well against the hornets. The hornets skilled wise are very athletic and have a huge TE. If they have a line, look for them to do well in their division.

The line is definitely the ? mark going into the season. They have players, To be determined how they do.

Defensive line will be fine. With that 4-2-5, they are essentially gap fillers. The backers should be a strong suit and will beat most lineman to the point of attack.

I saw two QBs working out. Don’t know much about them but looked like typical burg QBs. Lol.

Caught the 7v7 against Fairland last night.

A few big plays by each team, which is typical in a 7v7. I liked the way the pirates covered for the most part forcing the QB to hold the ball on multiple occasions. Fairland looked to have some athletes with some speed as well. Burg QB looks fairly solid. A couple errant throws but accurate for the most part, especially on the run. Overall I think it was a pretty good showing by the Pirates.
