Should be a good one. Jackson by a little if they play as advertised. If not, Ironton by two scores or more.

Ironton holds a 34-9-7 record against Jackson all time. Jackson’s 9 wins came in 1910, twice in 1911, 1968, 1969, 2005, 2010, 2011, and 2014.

Not sure how many Ironton loses besides Carrico but I know Jackson has a stud QB coming back along with some others so they would be my early pick. This should be a good one that I might have to attend.

I’d feel better if Ironton wasn’t returning their line on both sides of the ball.

Jackson will have a ton of skill but a ton to prove.

Yeah, this is one of those games that should be on the schedule every year. Glad to see it.*

2020 was a very odd season for Jackson football. The program had a ton of hype coming off the 11-1 season in 2019. Jackson looked to be as advertised early , albeit against some down teams. Then came the last 2 games, a heartbreaking loss in the FAC championship game and another tough loss in a home playoff game. Jackson definitely showed some flashes but ultimately was hit hard by the injury bug and had to replace more than expected.

Looking on the bright side , the sophomore- senior classes are all very talented and deep. Last years seniors played very hard and were very good, always been small in numbers. Jackson could be really , really good in 2021, if a couple things happen.

1. The players all buy in , find a role on the team and embrace that role. With a lot of good football players ready Jackson could rotate fresh bodies all game.

2. The players get in the weight and get theirs weight room numbers up to where a solid division 3 football should be.

A lot of people will overlook Jackson in 2021 after the disappointing finish in 2020. However this could be one of Hall’s better teams is things come together.

Go Ironmen !

Thought I read somewhere that Jackson "looks slow on film." If so it could be a long year.

Ironton will be to physical. Jackson will be loaded again as usual and beat up on the McLain’s and Court House’s but won’t win the meaningful games.

Jackson is getting ready to come into some really high quality years in terms of talent across the board. Jackson will have guys with speed at the skilled position, I think one question I have for jackson faithful is the QB position going into 2021 I heard a rumor where Winters had Tommy John surgery if so what's his status. Any chance they allow Spires to QB Winters to the backfield with the Wolford boy?
