Which will happen first this year? Burg fans whine about transfers or Athens beats more than 2 DV teams?

Going with the first.

The only thing Ironton wins this year is the CB number.

Well said, the CB game should be a blowout in Irontons favor

Everybody wants to get out and get going, Tank will be absolutely jammed for this one...as it should be.

Pirates being a dog in this one plays into their hand.

Huge questions for Wheelersburg at quarterback, OLine, and playmaker with the graduations the last couple years. I think Wheelersburg starts1-4 or 0-5 on the season and this game gets ugly. With Waverly and West after that, this could potentially be a .500 or loosing season

Not sure what's funny?
Ironton, Chillicothe, Russell, Ashland, Jackson, Waverly, and West are all capable of beating Wheelersburg this year.

You’re funny. There is a chance burg could lose every game but considering it hasn’t happened in over 30 years, it’s laughable to assume it three months prior to a season based on a hunch. And I know what Burg has. Their defense will be really good and their running back will be the one if not the best in the area

There's a first time for everything. World went a couple thousand years without Covid.

Just my opinion, but this isn't an overly talented team. They have some pieces but not alot of depth. Lattimore and Swords are good backs but it's a whole lot easier to defend that when you don't have the talent on the outside and at quarterback Wheelersburg has been blessed with the last few years.

You’re opinion is based on hunch. It would be more valid if you were expressing this after watching a scrimmage or first game. They have a ton of talent on the outside. You just haven’t seen them. Best kicker possibly in the area as well.
Their only question marks are QB and offensive line. I’m not worried about who will QB, but the line will have one true starter back.

No I’m not. Far from it. In fact, I think this team will definitely be as good if not better than last year. That’s my opinion. Burg will have one of the best defenses in the area. However I’m saying that as a hunch. I was saying the only concern that would construct an opinion of being 500 would be an unproven offensive line. Nothing else you said was accurate

BURG will be 10 and 0 this year. You gotta believe the pendulum is swinging back Burgs way this year. They are due for an extraordinary season this year. Just what I hear from the locals. But, I am not saying it will be easy.

measuring stick for both teams.
Neither team has no love for each other but will be up for each other.
Ironton plays tight no turn overs they win by 7-10 points.
They get emotional they lose by 7.
Penalties have been a weakness for Ironton and that decides the game.
