Changing demographics and economies. Changing community and BOE goals or philosophies. OHSAA changing classifications. Everybody trying to find their best fit. What is surprising is that Ohio has not endured more conference realignments than it has. I just hope the musical chair game of conference realignment does not result what happened a couple years back in Illinois. The courts got involved in who could play who. I do not think anyone in Ohio wants to go down that rabbit hole.
