I agree, who would you give the edge too if this is the game to decide the Region?

I’ll give the edge to the Cats. Few bad breaks last year against an experienced Newark Catholic team and they bring back almost entire starting lineup. After that game last year a few fans were like oh darn your bringing everyone back next year

I’m assuming that NC will be loaded as well!

I believe it will come down to Trimble and NC. They are pretty stout. NY has them back to back to start the season.

Tough. One can beat you up and the other can finish you off.

Both should be well loaded for runs. I think Trimble and Newark Catholic battle for Region 27 for the next few years as they have some talented classes coming up.

Yes, I'm stupid. They will be. Should be looking for a regional title also.

That's a good bet considering one of those four teams have won the small school central/southeast/east region...... 17 of the last 22 years.

Danville, Shadyside and Trimble are biggest challengers to the Green Wave. NC is loaded as always.

Ouch. That’s a tough way to start the season, but also a great way to prepare for the post season. Rusty will have the Bucks ready. Can we fast forward to week one already?!?!

I think if you look back the last time NY lost to those two to start the season they ended up with a title. But, I do not look for this NY team to make history by being the first ever to lose to the team over the hill four straight years. The odds are with the Buckeyes in that one.

Fair assumption. Time will tell 😎

Here’s a rough plot on how I see playoff positioning shaking out after week 10.

1) NC
2) Trimble
3) Danville
4) Shadyside

5) Berne Union
6) Waterford
7) East Knox
8) River

9) Fisher
10) Caldwell
11) Eastern
12) Cardington

13) Monroe Central
14) TCC
15) Southern
16) Conotton Valley

Positioning within each group of four probably isn’t exact, but I feel pretty good about these.

Top 4 will be something to watch all season. I think in the end, there may be one surprise team that will shock us all and make a run.

With what I've been hearing and reading about the workouts they're doing in Racine I think they could crack the top 10 this season. They'll definitely be better than Eastern with all they lost and the fact that from what Iv'e been told they took the summer off other than that week long party they have every year at camp.
