How they looking this year? Bringing back a bunch of kids or did they end up losing a bunch?

How are the numbers? Up from last season or down?

Meant to say this on the baseball forum, but congratulations to recently-graduated Blayton Cox on earning First Team MSL honors in baseball. Miller had a rough first year in their new conference, and baseball was tough, but Blayton was one hell of a player and carried himself well at the plate and on the diamond. If I recall correctly, he's the same young man whose leg got snapped in football earlier in the year.

Their schedule is really funky this year. Very conceivable they could go 4-6 with alternating win's and losses week-by-week through most of the season.

Trimble - L
@ Fed Hock - W
Worthington Christian - L
@ Millersport - W
@ Berne Union - L
Grove City Christian - W
Fisher - L
@ FCA - L
Rosecrans - W

Coach Bartley has had the program competing at as high of a level as they could reasonably play at. Like I said, their schedule is bonkers in how it played out. The two most likely wins they'll have on the year are sprinkled in between the three toughest teams they'll play (Trimble, WC and BU will probably reach the final four in each of their respective regions come playoff time.)

Excited to finally take in a game at the recently redone Walter Harrop Field.

It is always heartwarming to see a program that has had some lean times start to turn things around. Sometimes more life lessons are learned from adversity than glory.
