Wheelersburg 35 Russell (KY) 16 2021

Post by Proud_Pirate63 »

I believe the Pirates continue to build momentum and come away with a victory. I’d like to see them establish the run early again, but I think they need have a few more pass plays in the game plan.

This game will be tougher then next week for the burg. Ashland is not very good at all. Russell just beat race land who beat Ashland. I’ll take burg in a close game. I think Russell will play tough.

This is one of my four games this weekend that I will be covering for PAFOOTBALLNEWS.
I look for a tough hard-hitting game, that the Burg pulls away in the fourth to win by 15.

Secondary for Burg will probably be tested this week...Russell was 6/11 for 211 and a TD against Raceland..big chunk plays in the passing game and pound it in with the running game...as stated above I think Burg continues to grow and comes away with the hard fought win.

I have Burg 35-14.

I thought Russell was going to blow Raceland out in the start. But then settled in. A pick six a
Removed and the game is closer. Burg needs to build on the offensive side ball. Got a lot better from week 1 until week 2. Defense looks good. Russell can stay in it though. Nice looking team

I will need all student enrollment data for the entire Russell team dating back to pre-K before I’m able to make an intelligent prediction.

Russell was able to move the ball well at times. They have some playmakers. Defensively, Raceland ran the ball down Russell’s throat several times. Raceland had more yards than Russell , 323-259. But, Russell forced 4 turnovers on defense. 3 INT and 1 Fumble. The 1st INT was a pick 6.

I'll take BURG in a hard fought game. Looks like Russell has a nice squad.

I'm not completely sure that the BURG is hitting on all cylinders just yet, I'll still pick them over Russell, KY.

Their projected TE/LB went out for year in scrimmage

Starting senior WR/Corner was out last week for precautionary reasons. He could be back this week.

Starting H Back was out last week for ankle. Not sure on if he’s coming back this week.

I know they have Raceland QB. That made Raceland a little salty

They will beat Russell. Not sure about Jackson yet. They are working on the offense still.
