WK 4: Fort Frye 26 @ Zanesville 13 Final

Post by EasternDspy »

Have no idea how this game will go. Zanesville has played 2 D1 teams so far.

Cadets have a chance to get Big Kaleb Bailey and Wr/CB Braxton Brown back.

Calpreps has been on the money with spreads.

Fort Frye 31
Zanesville 17

I think it will be tougher game than that

If this is a good Zanesville team, FF will have their hands more than full. Good Zanesville teams are very fast and physical. But, FF will be a tough out for anybody. Their system makes it dang near impossible to blow them out. My guess is within two scores either way.

It's an average Zanesville team. Should be 5-4 or 6-3.
I just hope Zanesville has enough kids back from quarantine to play the game.

The Fort Frye I watched on Friday is good, but they have a lot of room to grow in the next several weeks.

If Fort Frye gets G/DL Kaleb Bailey back from concussion that will be a huge upgrade. He is the teams best pulling guard.

For what it’s worth, Ridgewood didn’t play all that great and were not too crisp executing and still pretty much dominated Zville in their last scrimmage playing 2 qtrs. of game conditions. But the Devils did seem to have good athletes and good speed. Very average Zville team I would say.

i'm really concerned that after beating St. Henry (barely) the Cadets won't have the defense to handle ZHS' speed.
Is this one going to be close? I think 3 touchdowns wins it, but I don't have an lot of confidence picking FF to win.
However, good luck to the Cadets.

Zanesville is fast but they are bad and undisciplined on defense. I think this will be a great game.

Are you saying that St Henry game made you think less of Fort Frye? Did you see that team they had 57 players rotating 3-4 guys every play in 90 degree heat. St Henry was very very good.

No, i don't think less of the Fort I just have a feeling Zanesville playing at home can pull it out. Sure, St. Henry is very good, and so is FF, but you know the Blue Devils are going to be one of the biggest challenges the Cadets face the rest of the regular season.
