Will burg find a week 4 opponent? Or will they have to sit at home?

That will be a nice game for them!!

Portsmouth would be a huge gate if they could play.

Any reason why they didn't play the Trojans? That may have been a good match up for both teams.

As of now doesn’t Portsmouth still have a game on Friday??

Wattersn is currently 1-2 on the season.

My bad. I thought I had read the game was canceled.

I thought that as well but was set straight in another thread...I hope we pick up somebody for certain though. I had heard Watterson but then started hearing pretty strongly Ptown.

Seems like teams are having success in finding opponents because of so many different schools needing to cancel. This shouldn't be any different especially with Burgs willingness to play bigger schools makes the list much bigger.

Would Bishop Watterson be a home game?

Also, seems like Portsmouth program starting to stabilize. Any talk of Burg/Portsmouth series starting back up next few years?*

I’m not sure if they are stabilized yet but definitely on their way.

BW is down this year. Burg has seen better Watty teams in recent memory — this one doesn’t look at that level. Their defense is pretty decent, but they can’t buy a point offensively to save their life.

Hope you find a game. Yes a bye would let the kids rest but they signed up to play football. Find them a game.

Covid issues with Ashland School District I heard. I hope local teams won't have to cancel league matchups.

Right now burg can’t find a game. Hopefully something pops up in week for burg but if that’s true it’s only because someone else had to cancel. Lose, lose for all on this one.
