Forecast for Gallipolis the next 3 days.......thunderstorms Wednesday, with partly cloudy Thursday and Friday with only about a 15% chance of rain. If that forecast holds true, maybe Memorial Field will dry out on game day. The condition of the field might be an important factor in the game. I have seen quite a few PHS/GAHS games watching a lot of kids on both teams slipping and sliding on MF.

Also want those steps to be dry for biggdowgg and beergogglebluez.......... :D

GO TROJANS!!

Park to the east another block and enter through the other gate. Or drive down the hill and pay $5 to park on the practice field, short walk, plus you’ll park right behind the visitors bleachers.

Yep since they opened the practice field lot. I have paid $5 almost every game.

Is it really a upset when Gallia wins every year? And both teams are undefeated so far. And it’s at gallia. I would think if Portsmouth wins its the upset. Gallia has the Trojans number every year.

Gallia will be lucky to have 22 players for this game. They will be without 6 starters this game. Portsmouth by 14 if Gallia had all there starters Gallia by 21.

I would love to see Gallia win, but the small numbers play huge in this game. You cant replace experienced payers with youngsters and win against quality teams. Penrod should give up coaching and join the circus because he has become an excellent juggler. Good luck to both teams.

Too bad waverly wont schedule a game this late due to no prep time. Waverly and Portsmouth would be a decent game.

No it wouldn’t. Waverly would destroy Portsmouth. But not sure rumors are true yet.

if gallia is down 6 starters that would point toward a big Portsmouth win. i would like to see this game played. i have heard no rumors or posts of cancellation today as of yet. i know this morning early my wife was asked to help in concession stand friday. Or that is at least when she told me.

I hope it’s not cancelled. But I’d like both teams healthy. Hopefully just some chatter and it’s not true
