Agree, the Dragons may just be a little too much for Rock Hill this game. Lets hope they both have an injury free game.

Poor ole Rock Hill. It seems, that growing up, Rock Hill players are always playing for football championships, peewee league, all the way thru middle school. But as soon as they hit high school, they hit a brick wall.🤷‍♂️

Rock Hill and Northwest are mirror images of each other in this regard.

I agree. Northwest is always good in the younger years but fall short in high school. Wonder if kids transfer or something else to cause it.

I think when they are younger, they are bigger and more talented than most teams they play. Grade school thru junior high, usually, the teams with one stud and some bigger kids dominate. Factor in a lot of "daddy ball" at these lower levels and it hurts in the long run. By the time they reach high school they realize their talent and size alone isn't enough anymore. So either they just aren't that good anymore because they have been caught up to or they don't want to work to get better because they never have had to before. That's part of it I think. Plus there are other factors like coaching, transfers and these districts being rural. They lose some kids due to the fact that for their families sake they have to work. Just throwing out observations here. But for the kids that do play in the RH and NW programs all the way thru there seems to be a stall in development after jr high

Other schools have daddy's that coach at the younger levels and they seem to do ok. So is the problem daddy ball or the daddy's? But i agree with the fact that some schools kids tend to be bigger at a younger age, then either don't grow much after or just don't work hard. who knows. As for the game, ill take the Dragons in this one.

On the A team, daddy/older brother refuse to put son/younger brother on the offensive line where he should be even though he’s by far one of the slowest kids on the team. They prefer to play him at QB or RB or slot/WR skill positions but play him on the D line on defense. It’s become so blatant that it’s just a running joke between everyone now.

I see. That's not good. I mean I get trying kids at multiple positions, especially at a young age, but gotta be able to be realistic about it too.
