i am hearing Waverly declined on a team yesterday. so i doubt if they would take a opponent today. i dont know if it is true but one day to prepare would not be long.

They scrimmaged this year one week before week 1 so both teams need less time to prepare.

OHSAA expanded playoffs to 16 teams, basically saying if you have a pulse you make the playoffs, and yet we have coaches and teams being cowards and avoiding playing games versus teams that might actually test their mettle. What are you teaching your players, only take the field if you think it's an easy win? Another example of society becoming as soft as Rite Aid cotton.
