NW vs Valley Round 2

Post by packers80 »

Second meeting this year, this one is at NW I believe. What adjustments are made between the 1st game & this one on each side, if any? Any news on each team's health?

I think NW has more out than Valley, but not sure on that. Pulling for the Indians.

Valley wins by a slim margin. They let the last one slip out of there hands.

Valley in this one they have improved. Vallly's two L's are to 4-0 Portsmouth and 4-0 Piketon. Both passing teams.

That’s right. Thank you. Northwest had the lead and lost it. Sorry about that

I think Valley has improved quite a bit the last couple weeks. They were able to get more rotation in the past 2 weeks, and it has helped them. Northwest has a very talented group but they have been plagued with injuries this year. I look for Valley to continually to improve and pull this one out by 2 scores.

Valley by 3-4 scores unless NW gets up again one more time to swing at the Indians. If they do the ladder and lose, turn out the lights on the Mohawks season.

This game worries me. While he’s valley has been playing a lot better lately I still can’t forget that nw gave the last game away. It took 2 4th quarter turnovers for valley to win at home. Now they are on the road. I’ll guess NW 28- V 24.

Disagree. Valley playing better, NW playing worse. Game was a late addition first time around correct? Give me the Indians.

Yeah neither team looks like the same team that played week 2 I know northwest is missing 5 key starters but they just didn’t play with the same passion that they did before

NW is the worst athletics program in the state of Ohio. They can never hire a good coach and many good coaches would never go there anyhow with the way the culture and people are.

Dang harsh, little over statement but I get it. What happens once they moved back up to SOC2 here in another year or 2??

He definitely does because northwest is not even close to the worst sports program in our area let alone all of Ohio some of their other sports they are really good

I would rather give some credit to Valley then all the blame on NW. I watched the feed online and neither team killed their chances tonight, both had good plays and bad plays. It seems to me Valley has improved more as a team and many more players were involved tonight. A full week of prep for the coaches and the players showed tonight for Valley. Good luck to both teams in conference play. Valley has a punchers chance and look for them to surprise so teams. I think NW should still be a favorite in SOC I.
