Rating Coaches in Ross and Pike county

Post by SVC Man »

I was just wondering who everyone thinks is some of the better coaches in the area, both head and assistants. Obviously we all have our opinions but I am just curious who everyone likes and why you think they do a good job.

Which team do you coach for?

Don't no nuthin bout them counties but the best coach in Mason County is the Hannancoach. He better than them boys in Putnam county to so I add them since they so close to Hannan.

Coach Crabtree at Waverly has done an excellent job with the program having made the playoffs every year since 2016 including a SOC title in 2020.

What's the census on Piketons coach Guillon?
He's been there a long time. Not sure about SVC championships though.

Have to give coach Hoops a shout out. Anybody who can be the head coach of football and basketball in this day and age gets my respect. If the U needs a baseball coach I'm sure he's qualified.
I think coach Keller at Huntington does more with less every year.
A lot of new coaches in the SVC.
Chillicothes coach has done a good job. Beat Jackson a few times, has an FAC championship.

I don't think Ross County has a present Varsity football coach that has a winning career record. Am I wrong? If one is over .500, it is just barely or they have only coached a few years.

Keller is over .600 still, but also not even close since he went to Huntington

More than it took time to read the thread but honestly just subtract others

Just wondering how do you think Keller has done more with less every year. He has not won one significant game at Huntington.
Also Cory Dye has a winning record in the SVC

Depends on what your expectations are, right?
I know a few years ago, when he had the good QB, Mccloskey I think, they were hovering around 5-5, and competing in league games. I think .500 at Huntington, whoever that coach is, deserves a lot of credit.
