You’re from Athens, not qualified to comment. You guys were one of the schools that voted to keep Fort Frye out of the TVC because you were scared of playing them. You guys love being the big school thumping your chest when you get league wins Over D5 schools.

Ff doesn't pound their chest after any win, particularly when its 45-13. We expected to win, players were focused and coaches called a great game. Trimble is best team in the tvc. And when exactly did trimble play Athens?
Played them for 2 quarters in the jamboree game. Trust me, Athens is bad!
Jamboree games aren't real games. And trust me, i know how bad athens is. Makes me glad we aren't in the tvc ohio
This guy . . . I don't know who hurt him. He got all huffy last year that Fort Frye fans were picking The Cadets to beat Wellston, then disappeared after that game for about a year. He just started trolling Fort Frye threads a couple weeks ago. Not sure what his beef is, but he's dedicated to it.

Athens voted yes for Fort Frye.

Trust me Fort Frye is good this year.

Cadets held Lackey to 21 yards on the ground.

I’m sure that’s why Cadets were running wild. We’re talking like 8 yards a play all night.

Good game by fort, Trimble looks out of it right now, can’t win games when only one player is showing up week in week out and that player would be lackey, where guffy been, or downs?

I wonder if anyone in the region can give FF a competitive game before Springfield

Just watched a video gridiron glory to preview this game and at the end both coaches were speaking and it really outlines where fort is compared to Trimble. All Faires talked about was playoffs and how regardless they won’t see fort again. Then flips to Huck and he talks about how they just go one game at a time and never look ahead towards playoffs. IMO living in the moment is where build your program which is exactly what fort has done last 8 years.

There is not a serious expectation that Trimble will be challenged again until week 12. Nothing wrong, at all, with Faires talking about playoffs.

West Jefferson might be better than Springfield this season.

Indeed. We'll see what type of threat West Jeff really poses to Ft. Frye when they play Mechanicsburg in week 10.

What do you really put out there in a jamboree game though? Not saying we didn’t try, but I’m sure uncle Phil didn’t treat it like a real game and throw the whole playbook at yans.
FF did what they had to do and handled business. Kudos to them. Hopefully they see the final 4 again. For the Cats, they enter league play and hopefully dominate the rest of the season to work out some kinks they have to prep them for the post season, because when I seen NC play NY, we better be firing on all cylinders if we end up playing them at some point in the playoffs.

Return everyone from an elite 8 team.

When you lose 45-13 you can’t blame it on the refs bud, sorry for bursting your bubble. Good try on attempting to stir the pot though ;)

Yeah, I guess what I'm getting at is Mechanicsburg is known for a very physical ground game. So it'll be a halfway decent indicator of what West Jeff can do in the possibly-inevitable WJ/FF tilt. WJ has typically been snake-bitten by them in years past.

I doubt Springfield would have much trouble with west jeff. Springfield lost to the only team Kirtland is worried about

Springfield isn’t the same team this year not even close. They lost all the size. Yea they got a good Qb but that’s about it.
