well unless you are 5-0 or 4-1 you are probably don't have enough points to think about it yet. The last thing you would want to do is skip a game then have opponents cancel on you in later weeks and you not have enough points to qualify for a playoff position.

It's only high school football... It's not fair to the kids,. They want to play... You only get better if you play.. if covid is a serious problem at your school, yes you should cancel...

With 16 teams getting in it won't take a lot , you could dodge one or even 2 games and still get in ?

Not saying it should happen and like posted not fair to the kids but we know today's world and how some want things handed to them

I don't know why any team would want to get out of rhythm, I don't see this happening unless it gets closer to playoff time and teams are really busted up then possibly.

It will happen. Staff will see how they line up in the playoffs and use a strategy. Covid can be used as a excuse for not playing.
