That’s great news. Not many points tho. If anything this game hurts Trimble. Zero level 2 and they are winless so not many 1st level.

Probably will drop Trimble to the 6 seed with Berne Union and Shadyside as the 2/3. The other side will be #1 Newark Catholic and #4 East Knox

Figured they would find a way to dodge nc to the finals

I don’t think Trimble should be too scared of NC.
NC lost to Heath by 7, Heath lost to Zanesville by 40, a team Fort Frye beat.
No reason for Trimble or anyone else to think NC is not capable of being beat by the tomcats.

I have Trimble’s final avg at 14.71 (presumes that NY beats Athens.) This is before the possibility of Southern beating Eastern, but I don’t believe that’s going to be enough to put them above Waterford.

I have trimhle at 14.724with eastern winning
[Miller L, NY W] and Trimble 15.167 with southern winning [miller L ny W]

Waterford looks pretty locked at 15.165 with Caldwell Win and 15.101 if Caldwell loses

Seem the only game matters for the 5/6 seed is eastern v southern

Expect 5 seed to play FCA or bishop rosecrans and 6 seed to play Monroe central or fisher catholic. Makes that 2/3 seeing even more interesting now. Trimble v Berne Union [if Berne Union makes it past Danville] at Logan HS week 12??? Could it be?

Would love to see it that way but BU will be a 2 seed not a 3 seed.In a 16 team bracket number 3 plays number 6 which would be Shadyside week 12.Correct me if I am wrong.

Hey,

Here's what I have for Trimble factoring in a win over Crooksville before any L2's to follow from the balance of the Tomcats' schedule this weekend.

L1’s 26/9 = 2.88
+ L2’s 84 / 7.9 = 10.63 ---- divisor is now 79... easier to do 84 / 7.9, moving the decimal point over, than it is doing ((84/79)x10)

13.51

... + 5.5 (if NY beats Athens) + 4.0 (Waterford beats Belpre) = 9.5
9.5 / 7.9 = 1.2

13.51 + 1.2 = 14.71 (before Saturday, the Eastern/Southern game)

if Southern wins, then 3.5/7.9 = .44 added to the average. 14.71 + 0.44 = 15.15

I don't see that as being enough to take over Waterford...? Maybe I'm wrong, though.

They have a projected score of Trimble 15.1674 if Southern wins and Waterford at 15.1654 now that’s pretty darn close.Just posting what I seen.Friday night and Saturday will be interesting.

I was thinking possibly if shadyside got some extra L2s and jumped to 2 (not even sure if that’s possible) thought it would be fun though hah

Big thanks to @ttomcat 80 for pointing out that BU is going to be the 2 and Shadyside the 3.

Here's what I have...

1 - NC (can run the numbers to ensure they are comfortably above BU)
2 - BU 18.79
3 - Shadyside 18.31
4 - East Knox (Joe Eitel says they can't get above 18.19 with a win)

5 - Waterford
6 - Trimble (could flip with Waterford)

7 - River 9.37 if Bridgeport beats Paden City, WV; 9.00 if Bridgeport loses to Paden City, WV
8 - Caldwell 9.21 with a win over Shenandoah (???)

Eastern/Green has been called off, again.

I have BU at 18.54, now. If Coal Grove loses to Rock Hill, then BU is at 18.05 and likely down to #3.

With the recent news of trimble picking up crookville, to drop in the rankings, waterford has decided to rest their starters this week against the golden eagles.

NC is the best team in the region by far. They are just built different. But Waterford will give them a run for there money.

Correct- they are built with just the right amount of recruiting and enrollment control to stay division 7. Good observation.

They shouldn't be in D.7, when you can recruit it should make you at least 6 or up. Us little D7 schools that don't recruit makes it hard to even come close to say beating NC and its hard to win our region.
