Symmes Valley, too physical for the Titans I believe

I think ND is getting there but I do agree with Sider I think at least for this year SV is to physical up front for ND to deal with. Symmes Valley even though it's against 2 of the weaker 2 teams has yet to allow a point in SOC1 play.

How y’all see Symmes Valley doing in playoffs?

According to seeding, at best one win, then SV would meet Fairland. A team that I hear Fairland wants to play very badly.

As a 7 they’d currently have to play Centerburg. That be a huge test round 1. Centerburg in a good league.

They played Centerburg before. It was a pretty good game.

I think Symmes Valley could have a good game with Coal Grove or Valley if they land one of them.

Not sure what Notre Dame is running on offense, but if they can spread out SV they have a chance. No matter where SV finishes in the seedings I don't see them being able to beat anyone in the region outside of Coal Grove or Valley... maybe.

I just remember that last year they got rolled by Nelsonville and they were down last year. I just don’t think SV schedule prepares them for the playoffs.

They don't have the numbers to play a really tough schedule. They been 25-30 players every year.

Last year they played NY with 18

I feel that Fort only has 30-35.

Symmes Valley used to have 50-60 boys out for football (JV and Varsity). Rusty Webb and his staff work with what they have and schedule teams they can compete with week in and week out. You’ll get three things out of a Symmes Valley team:

1. A team that plays hard
2. A lot of grit despite not always having the best athletes
3. A few tricks up their sleeves

Always had a lot of respect for what Symmes Valley does without having a lot of “raw” talent.

Coach Ashley I feel the same way about. I think that this game will be a good one.

Well said yes we may not be the powerhouse that some teams are but would not have wanted my Boys to go to any other school or play Football Anywhere else. Plus my Daughter is there now and there is nobody else to play Softball for than Coach Estep.

Is this game on a Friday night or Saturday night? I know Notre Dame sometimes plays home games on Saturday.

Wait, just seen this game is at Symmes Valley. With Notre Dame at the end made me think it was at Notre Dame.

Same here. Hope ND can get the win, but Symmes Valley always a tough place to play and sounds like they got some real talent this year. I'll say Symmes Valley wins 27-14.*
