Minford with a goose egg. I’m surprised they didn’t give a better push.

A returned punt and turnovers deep in their own territory in the 1st quarter lead to TDs. After that, Minford seemed like they just gave up. Absolutely no resiliency from the Falcons tonight.

This is how this game has typically gone after Waverly has taken the loss to Burg they seem to come out and thump Minford. Looking at those stats 3.5 a carry with just over 100 yards rushing and 41 of that came from a young man with all backups in.

Why? There was a potential of severe weather. The burg valley Game was a torrential downpour with lightning. Maybe they got word of that and decided they didn’t want to get caught in it. There are no locker rooms for cheerleading and band.

Have to agree with Woby, I honestly don't know what is shocking about it given the storms that were stronger in some areas than it was others. I mean they're there for the purpose of cheering on Minford team so really only ones they would need to answer to would be the Minford faithful. I'm sure had they known it wasn't going to get any worse they would've stayed but it was pretty scattered throughout the area.

I get not going at all, especially the band with instruments. I mean the weather forecast was awful. However, the rain and radar had cleared by the time they left. Not good timing when your team is down IMO.

I don’t know particulars about the band, but the cheerleaders’ uniforms were somewhat see through due to the rain so the administration told the coach to release them. They were not allowed to go back in to the stands to even sit because of this so I’m not sure what you would have them do. And it had NOT cleared when they were told that it was the beginning of the second quarter and it was still raining.
