So teams will be playing multiple football games in back-to-back days...is this common? Not trying to be a smartarse, just never heard of pee wee football tournaments starting and ending in one weekend.*

could be a great tournament. Who does have the best youth squad? I heard Minford 3rd and 4th... Rock Hill and Symmes Valley 5th and 6th really good.

I've seen them done quite a bit over in Kentucky at that level but I don't know that I've seen it in Ohio, at least in this area. Maybe Ironton is trying to get an early look

I’m pretty sure it’s for the program not the kids

Maybe is Texas. Didn't they have a Tv show a few years back about pee wee teams in Texas and they recruited and all kinds of crazy stuff? Little Tykes or something like that? SMH. Just play, learn the game, and have fun.

A high school band competition last weekend in Parkersburg, WV gave out cash prizes for winners in the various categories. That is wrong in my book. Then again maybe the cash prizes were needed to get contestants signed up in the age of covid. That, and every thing in society now revolves around
monetization as incentive.

I've seen cash prizes for those competitions before, the money goes into the bands budget to help get stuff.

Yeah, I had a daughter in a band out of WV that was big into Bands of America. Bands eat money for sure. Sciotoville East had an excellent band program some twenty years ago.

Ohio teams only or could other tri-state area youth teams all sign up?

no competition don't gotta compete, I'm already winning this isn't defeat 😵

Anyone is welcome, there will be 2 games Saturday and up to 2 games Sunday. I check will be handed to the champions of each division. It will be closely monitored on grade and age so that there isnt any cheating.
