WK 9: Frontier (5-1) @ Monroe Central (3-4)

Post by carbon_dated »

Cougars know they could host a D7 playoff game if they can secure a win in one of their final two games.
The teams didn't meet last year due to COVID.

History says the odds are stacked against Frontier. Monroe Central can reach Region 27 playoffs again but a W on Seminole turf is a must.

I think Frontier can win this game but I don’t think they can beat River.

Woodsfield/Monroe Central is 48-1 all time vs. Frontier. Their only win came in 2004, a 14-7 win at Frontier. Frontier also went 9-0 that year.

Woodsfield/MC has shutout Frontier 20 times in the series History and has held them to less than 10 points 38 times.

Such domination. It's like Godzilla v. Tokyo.

Agreed , only common opponent magnolia Monroe beat 43-19 away , frontier 28-21 home rain could have had something to do with it though

True but I also think if Monroe played frontiers schedule they would be no worse than 5-1 as well

So this is the 50th time these schools have played I've been told. First team to 35 wins this one.

1985 doesn't have a single thing to do with the 2021 Seminoles

Two out of 50 you say? Frontier more than due, however, i'll say Seminoles find a way.
