Fort Frye is in the East district

If you didn’t notice there are several SE district teams in the playoffs this year and I decided to start the thread with a rundown of their history and matchups.

2 weekends in as we move into The Regional Semis and we have a manageable amount of teams - 16 x 7 or 112 then the thread will transition into a broader and more statewide thread and will also touch more on our neighbors to the East.


The State does a great job of putting out a press release with complete history every year - until this year. I guess with 7 divisions and 4 regions each qualifying 16 teams for a total of 64 x 7 or 448 teams their lead historian said …. Maybe next week. Therefore the information on this thread was much more time consuming and to be honest - it’s the only place you can find it. So, I had to make the cut somewhere and will bring in our friends from The East district next week or the week after. Fort Frye will definitely still be around and possibly make the furthest run of any team in the SE or the E district.

If I have time later today - I mean since you asked nicely - I might add Fort Frye to that D6 R23 list. Just don’t tell River they will do nothing but Shadyside me.
